Learn the skills that employers value.

Start with accounting and payroll fundamentals, then build practical skills in financial records, payroll compliance, QuickBooks, Sage 50, Excel and business communication. You’ll apply what you learn through hands-on practice and finish the program with a 200-hour internship.

Payroll processing & compliance

Learn to calculate employee pay, deductions and remittances, and apply federal and provincial payroll legislation.

Bookkeeping & financial records

Build skills in recording transactions, reconciling accounts, tracking cash flow and maintaining accurate financial records.

QuickBooks & Sage 50

Practice accounting procedures using software commonly used for transactions, banking, taxes, ledgers and reporting.

Microsoft Excel & Office

Build practical skills with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint for accounting, reporting and everyday business tasks.

Along with your diploma, you’ll graduate prepared to pursue recognized payroll and bookkeeping designations that can add professional credibility as you build your career.

Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP)
National Payroll Institute (NPI)

Our Accounting and Payroll diploma program provides the educational courses needed to pursue the PCP designation. Additional National Payroll Institute requirements apply. The PCP designation recognizes payroll professionals with education in payroll legislation, compliance and administration.

Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CPB)
Certified Professional Bookkeepers of Canada

Graduates can fast-track toward the CPB designation, with the usual two-year work-experience requirement waived. The CPB designation represents professional bookkeeping knowledge, competence and ethical standards.
