Offered online through live, instructor-led sessions, this program combines the flexibility of online learning with real-time interaction and support from experienced instructors.

Everyone comes to career training with a different starting point. triOS College’s Accounting and Payroll Specialist diploma program is designed to support students with different goals, skill levels and experience. With instructor-led remote learning and half-day classes, you’ll build practical accounting and payroll skills that you can apply in real business settings.

You’ll learn to use industry-standard software such as Sage 50, QuickBooks and Microsoft Office while developing the skills to support payroll processes, maintain financial records, work with accounting information and understand Canadian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.

The program includes an 8-week internship where you’ll use your accounting, payroll, software and communication skills in a field-related workplace, building experience and insight you can carry into your job search. You’ll graduate with practical accounting and payroll training and be prepared to pursue the Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation through the National Payroll Institute (NPI).

You’ll also connect with the Certified Professional Bookkeepers of Canada (CPB Canada), giving you access to a preferred Student Affiliate membership rate, professional development resources and networking opportunities.
