Paralegal Diploma Program Overview

Our 52-week Paralegal diploma program is accredited by the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) and prepares you to represent clients in labour law issues, disability appeals, board and tribunal appearances, small claims court matters, traffic offenses and more. Areas of study include Administrative Law, Employment Law, Immigration and Refugee Law, Tort Law, Contract Law and more. As a Paralegal, you will draft legal documents, conduct legal research, create summaries of depositions and testimonies, file documents with related court systems and more. A 4-week internship provides opportunities for you to gain valuable insight and real-world experience so you can pursue your career path with confidence. A $1,000 bursary is available to students who enrol at any of our campuses. Half-day training is available for this program.

Certification Pathways
Upon successful graduation, you will receive your Law Society of Ontario (LSO) accredited diploma and be eligible to apply for admission to the LSO’s Paralegal Licensing Program.

The employment outlook in this field remains steady with an entry-level to median wage of $19.23 to $32.00 per hour
