You will learn to carefully insert thin needles into specific points on the body to stimulate nerves, muscles and connective tissue to help alleviate pain and promote healing. You will study Acupuncture techniques as well as the fundamentals of Physiology, Anatomy, Pain Management, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Nutrition and more. Certification Pathway
Our program meets the national competency standards for entry-level Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (TCM), enabling you to undertake the Pan-Canadian examinations. Graduates may apply for registration under the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).
