Our 47-week program provides the in-demand skills and training needed to administer and implement a range of social assistance programs and community services to clients experiencing personal, social and other challenges. It includes an 8-week, field-related internship that provides insight, confidence and valuable real-world experience. Upon graduation, you may explore a range of career options, such as support worker, group home worker, case manager, outreach worker and distress centre counsellor. Workplace environments may include mental health agencies, community health centres, rehabilitation centres, not-for-profit organizations, government agencies and more.
